We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Melvin Monroe Hays (Fort Smith, Arkansas), born in Clarksville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his siblings, Ralph Adams of Hartman, Jurine Roberts of Clarksville and James Glen; his daughters, Tina Hays Udouj of Fort Smith, Deloris Hays of Fort Smith and Elizabeth Gambert of Fayetteville; his son-in-law Gary Udouj; his grandsons, Skyler Gambert, Abe Gambert, Isaac Udouj and Miles Udouj; and his parents, Ephus Hays and Lillie Hays. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.
To continue Mel's tradition of helping others, the family asks that you donate to your local veterans or Alzheimer's charity in lieu of flowers.
