It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar James Newman Jr. (Fort Smith, Arkansas), who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Newman, Sr. and Jenny Newman; his significant other Ruth Newman; his sons, Larry Newman and Billy Newman; and his sisters, Savannah Rutledge, Opal Edwards, Mildred Brown and Rosemary Stroud.

He is survived by : his children, Linda Dressendorfer (Gary), Lou Anne Patrick (Richard), Angela Burnett (Otis) and David Newman; and his sister Loretta Benton. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
