She was predeceased by : her parents, William Jones and Sophia Calhoun Jones; her husband Selvin Plunkett; her daughter Betty Plunkett Taylor; and her siblings, Ruby Hester, Lena Mathis, Opal Runion and Glen Jones.

She is survived by : her daughter Shelda; and her son-in-law Don Austin of Grapevine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
