He was predeceased by: his parents, Veda Lavelle (Cruce) and Floyd Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his sisters, Bettie June Lyon of Cedar Bluff and Frances Kay Wheeler of Mineral Wells, Texas.; and his children, Jami Elizabeth Miller (Chad), Demetria "Buffy" Meadows, Keri Denise Keis (Chris) and Garrett Wade Blue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Lifesong Baptist Church, 56th South Broadview Street, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058.
