He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Brixey; his children, Ronald Brixey of Fort Smith, David Brixey of Greenwood, Scott Brixey of Fort Smith and Phyllis Keys of Greenwood; and his sisters, Evelyn Cosper of Ruidoso and Wanda Karr. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
