He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Slankard and Ruth Slankard; and his sister Debra Slankard. He is survived by: his sons, David Slankard of Hollywood, CA and Scott Slankard (Alissa) of San Diego, CA; his sister Janice Chapman (Chuck) of Huntington; his grandchildren, Xander and Elle Slankard; and his sibling's children, Jason Chapman (Amy), Christy Thompson (Jason) and Julie Howard (Jason).
