It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas James Benson of Gurdon, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Joe and Gladys Murphy Benson; and his sister Linda Beene. He is survived by : his wife Mary Kay McNeil Benson of Gurdon; his children, Daniel Benson (Alicia) of Arkadelphia and Melanie Hendrix (Keith) of San Diego; his brothers, Donald Benson of Gurdon and David Benson (Sheila) of Russellville; and his grandchildren, Jace and Jaxton Benson.
