He was predeceased by: his parents, Melba Winters (Byrd) and Leo Langwell; his daughter Debbie Hood; and his brother Paul "Bud" Langwell. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Langwell (Sweeten); his children, Dale Langwell (Jolene) and Mark Langwell (Angela); his grandchildren, Shawn Langwell (Kim), Shannon Langwell (Cynthia), Loucinda Onofre (Armando "Cain" Onofre), Trent Langwell and Cassi Langwell; his great grandchildren, Mercy, Kevin, Evan, Owen and Serenity; and his son-in-law Terry Hood.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. View Cemetery (9126 Bethel Rd, Hackett, AR 72937).
