With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Gates of Newport, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rodgers and Flora Rodgers (Horn); her husband Kinerd Gates; and her children, Kenny Gates and Charlotte Gates.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Kristy Stalik (Chris) of Georgetown and Samantha Letson of Paragould; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Wade of Bedford, Dylan Wade of Cave City, Jailynn Graham of Garland, Conner Graham of Georgetown, Tanner White of Conway and Madison Mizell of Jonesboro; her great great grandchildren, Karsie, Kylan, Kannon, Khloe and Wyatt; her son John McClung (Margie) of Cordova, Tennessee; her niece Wilma Evins; and her great-niece Paula Breckenridge of Newport.
