He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Garrett Pitchford and Beulah Pitchford (Babb); his wife Marticia Pitchford (Brassfield); his children, Wendy Jones (Neil) of Greenwood, AR, Annette Bierman (Hal) of Springdale, AR and Steve Pitchford of Sarasota, FL; his sister Mary Barnes of Burkburnett, TX; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Fox, Eliot Woosley, Nicholas, Nathan Jones, Chris and Coley Pitchford. He was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Chapel at 306 State Hwy 45, Hartford, AR 72938.
