It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verbena D. Foster of Hazen, Arkansas, born in Abernathy, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Henry and Willie Mae Davis; her husband James D. Foster; and her siblings, Sonny Davis, Lee Roy Davis, Marshall Davis, Daniel Johnson, George Johnson and Ila Mae Miller.

She is survived by : her children, Victoria Wadley of Batesville, Veta Mitchell of Batesville, Gail O'Neal of Stuttgart, Jerry May of DeValls Bluff, Anthony Foster of Paragould and Jan Files of Jonesboro. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
