She was predeceased by : her parents, Nelson Kirkwood and Lemon Kirkwood; her children, Ozzie, Samuel and Lee; her siblings, Sammie, David, Frank, Volga, Roosevelt, Larry, Rachel, Glenn and Maxine; and her daughter Karen (Ryan-Living).

She is survived by : her husband Leonard Kelley; her children, Melvin (Linda), Edna (late Terdell), Nelson, Vernita (A. J.) and Barbara; her grandchildren, Dee Dee, Casey, Cassandra, Taylor, Treecie, Andrea, Ashley, Keadrick, Kevin, Danielle, Chris and Cameron; and her close friend Melvina Neal. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.

“Ms. L.T. was a sweet mother figure for me. I loved her. She was always smiling, encouraging and very direct when she had to be. But, She was always honest. She was also a very faithful servant in the choir. And in the church. I will truly miss her. I Pray for strength & comfort for her family. 🙏”
