He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, Michael A. McDaniel (Mary) and Thomas P. McDaniel (Tonya); his sisters, Merry Bogle and Veniece Burton; and his grandchildren, Christopher Michael McDaniel, Mary Catherine McDaniel, William Marion McDaniel, Anna Morgan McDaniel, Phillip Harrison McDaniel and Monty Bradford Sinks.
