It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doodle B. G. Franklin of Hope, Arkansas, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Harold Franklin and Jewell Ray Franklin (Blackie); and his son Bobby Glyn Franklin Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Newton Franklin; his sons, Jimmy (Kelly) of Hope and Mickey (Lovella) of Shreveport, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Garrett Franklin of Mansfield, Braxton Franklin of San Antonio, Kelby Franklin Haynes of San Antonio and Michael Franklin of Ashdown, Arkansas.; and his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Franklin, Bryson Haynes, Braeleigh Franklin, Braxton Franklin Jr., Aubrey Franklin and Saylor Haynes.
