It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burlene Timbs of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born in Hollis, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, we release Burlene into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of our lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Burl Bridges and Ollie Bridges; her spouse Authur Timbs; her stepfather Charlie Speaks; and her siblings, Florene Smalling of Fort Worth, Texas and Hayden Bridges.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Timbs-Weeks and Chuck Timbs; and her sister Pauline Igo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home (155 Section Line Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71913). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
