He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Swesey. He is survived by: his father Robert Swesey; his wife Peggy Elliott Swesey; his son Phillip Swesey; his grandson Phillip Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Dale Swesey (Barbara) and Pitty Turney (Stan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
