He was predeceased by : his parents, John O. Prince and Gertrude Prince; his wife Peggy Prince; and his siblings, Earl Prince, Gwendolyn Kirtley, Betty Schonert and Mary Thornton.

He is survived by : his daughter Tia Helberg; and his grandson Ryan Benson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
