He was predeceased by: his brother Keith Benefield; and his sons, Raymond Benefield III and Blair Benefield. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his siblings, Louise Westbury and Kenneth Benefield (Marilyn); and his children, Kab Benefield (Sophal) and Jill Johnson (Ronnie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
