With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Hunter of Hot Springs, Arkansas, born in Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on January 12, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Mary Jane Hunter; his children, Kim (Clint Magness), Todd (Cindy Hunter), Amy (Tracy Bowman) and John (Christy Hunter); his grandchildren, Marideth, Julian Firman of Cabot, AR, Allyson, Brandon Dodds of Searcy, AR, Krista Magness of Dallas, TX, Megan, Kyle, Lance Bowman of Rogers, AR, Leah Reed, Abby and Reuben Hunter of Arlington, TN.; his great grandchildren, Devin, Karli Firman and Avyn Dodds; and his brother David Hunter (Marianne) of Dallas, TX. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2602 W Beebe Capps Expy, Searcy, AR 72143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at the Honey Hill Cemetery Honey Hill and Country Club. Due to the most recent COVID-19 directive, attendance is strictly limited to 100 people and face covering must be worn at all times.
