She was predeceased by: her parents, William Uless Durham and Bertha Durham (Mayhue); her husband J. D. Smart; her daughter Cora Lou Epperson; her grandson Keith Epperson; her great grandchild Quinn Epperson; and her siblings, Bitty Sue Cooper, James Durham, W. D. Durham, Eugene Durham and Bob Durham.
She is survived by: her children, William Smart (Pat) of Strawberry, J. W. Smart (Glenna) of Tuckerman, Billie Barber (Donald) of Union and Betty Gardner (Dale) of Newport; her siblings, Frank Durham of Newport and Betty Pearce of Newport; and her grandchildren, Tammy Wingate (Marty) of Heber Springs, Nannette Cooper (Freddy) of Newport, William Smart Jr. (Teri), Becky Hamilton of Searcy, Julie Epperson of Newport, Jeremy Walker (Lesley) of Newport, Jason Walker (Jan) of Newport, Jordan Walker (Stephanie) of Popular Bluff, MO, Alan Barber of Union Kentucky and David Barber (Kaitlin) of Florence. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
