She was predeceased by : her husband Vestal Dean; her parents, Elmer Franks and Gladys Franks; and her brother Elmer Leland Franks. She is survived by : her sons, Rick Epperson (Lari Ann) and Ronnie Dean; her grandchildren, Lori Domrase (Ricky), Ashley Dean, Emily Stroud (Sam), Alex Madesclaire (Mia), Taylor and Katie Dean; and her great grandchildren, Dalton, Drew Domrase, Xander Benson and Joanna Stroud.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Floyd United Methodist Church in memory of Mary Dean.
