With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ruth Carrington (Jefferson, Arkansas), born in Star City, Arkansas, who passed away on March 11, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Kenny Wayne Carrington and Todd Mitchell Carrington; her grandsons, Matthew Drake, Steven Hughes and Jason Hughes; and her brothers, William "Bill" Holloway and Carl Gene Holloway.

She is survived by: her children, Brandon Carrington of Star City, Debra Hales of Star City, Donna Nichols of Yazoo City, MS, Tammy King of Star City, Tina Earnest of Star City and Misty Hunter of Star City; and her sisters, Joann Socia of Star City, Helen Carrington of Star City and Lois Baxter of Pine Bluff. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
