He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry Clarence Harper and Arie Ethal Harper (Partain); and his brothers, Lonnie Harper, Robert Harper and Jim Harper.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Harper; his children, Della Harper, Dwight Harper (Mary) and Jimmy Harper (Paula); and his grandchildren, Alan Harper, Alex Harper, Autumn Hernandez, Angel Harper, Logan Harper, Aiden Harper, Skye Cowan, Shirell White and Tenae Harper. He is also survived by nineteen great grand children and several nieces and nephews.
