He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Ballew and Dixie Ballew; and his siblings, Willie Gene Ballew, Ralph Ballew, Darrell Ballew, Dorothy Lee Morrison and Carolyn Cowart.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Ballew; and his siblings, Pete Ballew of Eugene Ballew and Vera Lee Noles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
