It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Rutherford of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil McClain and Maggie McClain; her husband Johnnie Rutherford; her sister Mary Sullivan; and the father of her children Norman Welch.

She is survived by : her children, Jim Welch (June) of Jonesboro, Brenda Welch of Memphis and Mary Ann Kann (Bill) of Memphis; her sister Judy Morton of Hot Springs; and her granddaughter Julie Hutchens of Memphis. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
