She was predeceased by : her sons, Michael David Carter and Anthony Gene Carter. She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Russell of Jonesboro and Garland Carter of Hot Springs; and her grandchildren, Johnny Russell, Billy Russell of Jonesboro, Matt Carter, Shannon Sanders of Hot Springs and Greg Carter of Texas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
