She was predeceased by: her sisters, Carolyn "Boots" Meeks (Jim) of Woodbridge, VA and Wanda Hagler of Independence, KY.; her parents, Garland Nicholson and Carolyn Nicholson; and her grandson Spencer Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Gilbert; her children, Deven Gilbert (Sandie) of Mountain Home, AR and Ashley York (JC) of Nashville, TN.; her grandchildren, Hillary Coleman, Tyler Griffin, Brittany Gilbert, Breanna Glasgow, Ashton Gilbert, Olivia Allen, Hannah York, Claire York, Rachel York and Ian York; her great grandchildren, Jack Radcliff, Izzy Coleman, Kaiden Davis, Eastyn Gilbert, Luke Coleman and Brayleigh Coleman; and her brothers, Kenny Nicholson of Bladen, NC and Ronnie Nicholson of Fredericksburg, VA.
