She was predeceased by : her parents, Garriel E. Vaughn and Pauline Johnson Vaughn; her son David Scott Chipman; her husband David Chipman; and her siblings, Martha Beasley, Wilma Tosh, Dannie Vaughn and Charles Vaughn.

She is survived by : her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Glenn Bridger of Jonesboro; her grandson Kyle (Courtney Bridger) of Jonesboro; and her great grandchild Allison Bridger.
