She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil James Gibbs and Viola Ethel Gibbs; her brothers, Virgil Alfred Gibbs and James Kenneth Gibbs; and her son Philip Alan Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Debra Walden (Mike), Jed Jackson (Val), Melody Vollman (Karen) and Faith Bowdon (Dudley); her daughter-in-law Lisa Melton; her grandchildren, Leigh Kirkpatrick (Michael), Erin Moore (Zak), Molly Romero (Ross), Maddie Smith (Josh), Adrienne Jackson (Zack), Maria Kaufman (Hunter), Sophie Galland (Brett), Christopher Melton (Kayla) and Sam Melton; and her great grandchildren, Willem, Walden, Lark, Rhett, Margot, Barrett, Liv, Jack, Harper, James and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (710 Southwest Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
