We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2020, at the age of 87, Rosa Barksdale of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Topeka, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosa Barksdale to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Lorenz and Mary Kathrina Lorenz; her husband John Jenkins Barksdale; and her siblings, Ed Lorenz and Alvina Eck.
She is survived by : her children, Kenneth John Barksdale (Nancy) of Thibodaux, Kevin Louis Barksdale of Jonesboro, Anita Pauline Keller of Little Rock and Linda Darlene Spurlock (Scott) of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Alan Paul Keller, Eric Ryan Keller (Sarah), Amanda Marie Spurlock, Brian Neal Spurlock, Austin John Barksdale and Kyle Anthony Barksdale; her great grandchildren, Katie Marie Keller, Ryan Austin Keller and Joseph Alan Kellenberger; and her siblings, Fred Lorenz (Judy) and Esther Cleason.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines.
