He is survived by : his wife Lois Marie Dowdy; his children, William L. Dowdy (Kemberly), Wade Dowdy (Melody), Bryan Dowdy (Karrie), Jonathan Dowdy (Latisha), Emmanuel Dowdy (Maegan), Benny Lisk (Leslie), Brenda Lewis (Nick), Becky Dowdy, Tena Moon (Timothy) and Rhonda Cowan (Paul); and his siblings, Harold Dowdy Jr., Sherman Dowdy, David Dowdy and Lucille Pennely. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
