He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Thompson and Shirley Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson of Knoxville; his children, Jeffrey Thompson of Hagarville and Aimee Pearson (Wes) of Lamar; his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Willow Thompson, Emma, Josie and William Pearson; his siblings, Donald Thompson of Chico, Linda Sears of Fort Smith and Kim Jones-Brown of Detroit, Michigan; and his pets, Gus and Gypsy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Needy Paws Animal Shelter, a place close to Jerry's heart, where he found several of his beloved pets.
