He is survived by: his wife Joyce Compton; his children, John Compton (Ann) of Dermott, AR, Cody Compton of Goose Creek, SC, Kay Mazzanti (Chris) of Fayetteville, AR, Ann Puckett (John) of Fayetteville, AR and Megan Compton of Lamar, AR; and his siblings, Ronnie Compton of Hot Springs, AR, Anita Evans of Baton Rouge, LA, Martha Boatman of Portland, TX, Patsy Hunter of Aiken, SC and Mary Alice Terry of Benton, AR. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
