He was predeceased by : his siblings, Rosemary Goodwine, Everette Clark and Wash Ross Jr.; his brothers-in-law, David Goodwine Sr., Izah Broadus and Jeffery Johnson; his aunts and uncles, Neomia Williams, Elizabeth Lewis, Mary Lee, Celia Hampton, Maggie Ross, Loisteen Webster, Georgia Burrell, Enus Ross, Jacob Ross, Louis Burrell, Richard Burrell, Oscar Lewis and Rufus Lee; and his nieces and nephews, Maria Goodwine, Baby Jena, Tyrone Goodwine and Baby Brandon.
He is survived by : his friend Peter Ross; and his close friend Freddie Mae Horton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Punkin was reared in a household where Christian values, education, hard work, and the love and support of family were a priority and these attributes became the foundation on which he built his life.
