He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Abney and Celia Abney (Weaver); his son Logan Abney; and his brother Weaver Abney. He is survived by: his significant other Penny Thomas; his daughter Katrina Stromatt (Terry) of Ellsinore, Missouri; his grandchildren, Austin, Valarie Tidwell, Daniel, Joshua Stromatt, Mikayla Burkhart, Madeleine Davis and Zackary Henson-Abney; and the mother of his children Cathy Wood. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; two nieces; and lifelong friend.
