She was predeceased by : her husband William Franklin "Bill" Branum, Jr.; her parents, Garfield Hamilton and Zuma Colston Hamilton; and her brothers, Robert Hamilton and Donald Hamilton.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Johnathan Pierce, Ryan Branum, Caleb Branum, Micah Branum and Devin Branum. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
