She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph L. Cochran and Emma Mae Cochran (Humphries); her husband Ben Atkinson; her son Adam Atkinson; and her brother Sam Cochran.

She is survived by : her nephews, David Cochran (Sheila) of Salem and James Cochran of Salem, Arkansas; her sister Elizabeth Cooper Daigle; and her caregiver Crystal Hampton. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
