He was predeceased by : his parents, James Victor Alexander Sr. and Vera Lou Alexander (Roberson); his daughter Laurie Alexander; his grandson Holden Daughtery; his brothers, Jerry Lee Alexander (June) and Charles Moran; and his brother-in-law Lowell McNally.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Kay Alexander; his children, Amanda Bolinger (Aaron) of Shelbyville, Illinois and Jamie Alexander of Lewisville, Arkansas; his siblings, Dennis Moran (Toni) of Walker, Louisiana, Vicky Alford of Stephenville and Sonja Crick (Charles) of Harrison, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Brooke Jones (Cody), Emma Qualls (Michael), Lucas Brady and Wade Adams (Meghan); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Moran of Converse and Billie McNally of Garland, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
