As Bettie Joe departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bettie Joe may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bettie Joe leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Montgomery and Pearline Harris; her children, Laurie Modisette, Martie Modisette (Melody), Larry Modisette (Annette) and John Modisette (Melony); her daughter-in-law Joyce Modisette; and her siblings, Gwen Langrell and Don Montgomery. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
