We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, at the age of 76, Elizabeth Jean Braatelien of Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Pueblo, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elizabeth Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parent N. T. Braatelien of Moline Illinois. She is survived by: her husband Danny Wewers; her siblings, Gail Braatelien (Richard Castner), Kristin Braatelien (Rick Ketterling), Paul Braatelien (Karrie), Mary Braatelien Sowers and Bruce Braatelien (Aw); and her in-laws, Mark Wewers (Mary Ellen), Becky Johnson, Judy Wewers Korkames (Jody) and Mary Beth Wewers Saad (Bruce). She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and one great niece.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR 72205). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
