She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Causey and R. B. Causey; and her son Gregory Fortson. She is survived by: her husband Gene Fortson; her children, Gigi Bailey and Grant Fortson (Jaime); and her grandchildren, Brooke Wilson (Ryan), Mary Kate Vogel (Sam), Dr. Ben Fortson (Sarah), Caroline Fortson, Hannah Bailey and Claire Fortson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James United Methodist Church (321 Pleasant Valley Dr, Little Rock, AR 72212).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. James United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or Easterseals Arkansas.
