She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie David Brown and Earline Brown (Black); and her husband Manuel Arnil Twillie, Sr.. She is survived by: her brother William Kenneth Brown; her son Dr. David Allen Twillie; and her grandchildren, Marisha Kayla Twillie, Joshua Alexander Twillie, Alassane Twillie, Gabrielle Marie Ambar, Luke Manuel Ambar and Daniel Ellis Ambar.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bullock Temple Cme Church (1513 S Park St, Little Rock, AR 72202).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bullock Temple CME Church or to educational and arts organizations that support youth in the performing arts.
