She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie McCubbin and Monroe Surguine; and her siblings, J. B., Eugene Surguine, Aline Harvey and Hazel Bright.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Mahan, Patricia Berry (Kevin) and Brenda Wyrick (Phil); her grandchildren, Dr. Theresa O. Wyrick (David), Natalie Louise Wyrick, Miriam A. Spence (Charlie), Jordan W. Alexander (Emily Willis) and Brett P. Alexander; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Sarann Spence, Olivia Maxine and Lillian Parker Glover; and her brother Melvin Surguine (Morag). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Line Baptist Church.
