He was predeceased by: his parents, Cab Ward, Sr. and Mary Octalee Jernigan Goodson; his wife Sandra Goodson; his granddaughter Afton Goodson; and his siblings, Joe, Cab, Jr., Sam, Dick, Jack Goodson, Ruth France, Mildred Morris and Carolyn Maness.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Tollett (Teal), Bart Goodson (Karen Sue), Karen Richards (Benny) and Chad Goodson (Jennifer). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
