She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewell Abshier and Oldean Abshier (Jones). She is survived by: her husband Gary French; her siblings, Larry Abshier (Karren) and Dian Van Ness; and her nephew Chaz Van Ness. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (501 N Shackleford Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (10201 Hwy 5 N, Bryant, AR 72022).
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, which was one of her favorite charities.
