She was predeceased by : her parents, Sager Goliath and Hattie Ann Johnson Bell; and her siblings, Robert Raydell Bell, Sager Bell, Jr., Clara Lee Williams, Frankie Beatrice Lewis and Adell Rogers.

She is survived by : her husband Leroy Jackson; and her sisters, Mavis Dean Counts of Detroit, Callie Mae Mills of Florida and Mary Jean Gregory of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
