Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Melba Tatom of Louann, Arkansas, born in Coalgate, Oklahoma, who passed away at the age of 88, on November 30, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Leister and Edith Leister; her brothers, Butch and Randall Leister; her husband J. D. Reed; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Donnie Fontenot; and her son Steve Tatom.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Reed (Brenda) of Smackover, Johnanne Brown of Smackover and Cathie Bugh (Eddie) of Smackover; her daughter-in-law Waynell Tatom of Magnolia; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Ray (Richard), Julie Mantooth (Brian), Amy Walthall, John Reed (Jennifer), Michael Fontenot, Sara Beth Tatom, Kaylynn Williams, Jennifer Jackson, Kim Chandler, Sheila and Joey McAdams. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
