He was predeceased by : his parents, Angus Mahan and Ruth Mahan; and his siblings, Angus Mahan, Jr., Ann Mahan Miller, Ruth Mahan Prestridge Smith and George Freeman Mahan.
He is survived by : his caregivers, Melvin and Diane Bowman; and his pets, Molly, Gooch and Flossie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his longtime friends.
