She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Powell and Bessie DeVaughn Brewer (Dale Stiles); and her siblings, Billy Ray Powell, Lendon Powell, Bluford Powell, Clytee Grinder and Irene Tyler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
