He is survived by: his wife Diane Pillsbury Deavers; his children, John Deavers, Christopher Deavers, Jessica Freeman and Charlotte Housley; and his siblings, Denise Deavers Burton, Ladonna Deavers Warner and Gaylon Deavers. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
